SHOUT IT OUT LOUD MUSIC is a multidisciplinary music and sound boutique in Brooklyn, New York. Cited by Sonic Scoop Magazine as one of the "Top Audio & Music Business Developments of 2012", SIOLM curates, creates and produces music and audio by independent recording artists for advertising, television, film and interactive. Shout It Out Loud Music has also been known to book punk rock shows, throw dance parties, produce albums, release records and direct short music documentaries as part of its integrated, creative methodology.

SHREDDING HARD SINCE 2006

SIOLM was founded in 2006 by former Elias Arts Head of Music Supervision/Composer, Francis Garcia, as a reaction to the conventional music house model. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Francis practiced audio engineering, studied film criticism, directed video shorts and scored independent feature films as a Department of Radio, Television and Film student. He spent the better part of the 90s skateboarding and spreading the punk rock/DIY gospel in Austin, where his former bands shared the stage with Fugazi, (a pre-Warner Brothers) Green Day, Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids. 

As a Brooklyn-based musician and DJ, Francis remains actively involved in the indie community. Instinctively adept at discovering talent at a grassroots level, he's responsible for inking indie stalwarts Anamanaguchi and The Antlers to their first music licensing deals; curating shows and pursuing sync opportunities for Future Islands, Bear Hands and Class Actress at the onset of their careers; and co-sponsoring high-profile events featuring the likes of Phoenix, Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, Skrillex, and Moby.

Francis brings 20 years of professional experience to the role of Chief Creative Officer at Shout It Out Loud Music. His body of work includes feature film soundtracks (namely Bio-Dome and Waitress, as well as Goliath and Plastic Utopia for Kumiko The Treasure Hunter filmmakers, The Zellner Brothers); placements in TV shows such as Broad City, The Vampire Diaries, The Good Wife, and Royal Pains; plus hundreds of advertisements for name brands including: Squarespace, Victoria's Secret, CoverGirl, Ralph Lauren, ASICS, Lexus, Cadillac, MINI, Audi, AMC Networks, CNN, Nickelodeon, ESPN, Sprite and Hasbro.
